So much for going all out and protecting the integrity of the pennant race. The Cubs starting lineup today looks a lot more like the Iowa Cubs than the Chicago Cubs. Alfonso Soriano? Not there. Derrick Lee? Surely you jest. Aramis Ramirez? Nope. Geovany Soto? Riding the pine. Heck not even Mark DeRosa is out there. At least Rich Harden is actually pitching, but if he goes more than 5 innings I’m going to be surprised.
