Man the forecast for tonight looked cold, wet and nasty. I'm glad they aren't trying to play it in that.

I go with Posnanski on this (as on so much); if there was a We Play Nine policy for the WS, which is a perfectly reasonable policy, why not announce it in advance? And why not announce it in, you know, June? The whole thing was handled incredibly poorly, particularly when you consider that Lousy Weather in Philadelphia (or Boston or New York or Chicago) in the last week in October is perfectly predictable--I don't actually mean you can predict it, just that, you know, not a surprise so much.

Anyway, the good news, as far as I'm concerned, is that it's fairly likely that the game will actually end by 10:30 or so Wednesday, right? Which could mean I would be staying up for the last out of the WS for the first time in many, many years (OK, since 2002, but that doesn't really count).

Thanks,
-V.
