Into the bizarre…
Since the umps didn’t have the guts to call the rain delay when they should have, we’ve got a tie game and all the weather forecasts I’m seeing seem to indicate that there’s essentially no chance of it being restarted tonight. It looks like we’ll be restarting in the middle of the 6th inning, probably on Wednesday night.
That being said, I wouldn’t want the World Series clincher to have come in the middle of the night when they finally decided they couldn’t restart the game. They really need to revisit the rain rules in this situation.
