Phillies Foul Balls

Ok, Matt Stairs just vindicated Pat Gillick trading for him. Even if he does nothing else for the remaining games he’s a Phillie, that moonshot homer goes down in Phillies history.

The problem is that the an awfully large chunk of the bullpen has been used. I’m guessing the plan is to use Romero for the 8th and Lidge for the 9th. The question is what happens if Romero is shaky. I’d prefer to see them use Lidge for an extended outing, but I have a horrible feeling that they’d use Condrey instead.

Buckle the seat belts, this isn’t over yet.
