Wow was that a big win for the Phils. It takes tomorrow’s game from a must win to one that they’d definitely like to win but could afford to lose.
The interesting thing is that Hamels didn’t look that sharp tonight, at least early on. He didn’t have quite the control that he usually does, but as the game went on, his control seemed to get better and by the last couple of innings out there he was razor sharp.
Tomorrow’s a tough matchup. Hopefully the good Myers shows up and we can take both of the initial home games.
