We’re headed that way but…
Do the Phillies have the guts to go to a four man rotation the rest of the way? They’ve got a couple off-days in there which will help, but still it would be opening themselves up to some serious second guessing. From my perspective if they wanted to keep running Moyer and Myers out there on three days rest, I’ve got no problems with it. Hamels on the other hand is in danger of running into the Verducci Effect, so I’d be really reluctant to see him used that way. Given that, they’re going to need a fifth starter on Wednesday which could get ugly.
