With Ryan Madson replacing Myers, I guess that means he’s definitely moved back to the bullpen.

Probably the right move too. He’s been inconsistent in the rotation, but that inconsistency dissapears when he’s only facing five hitters coming out of the pen. With Lieber, Myers, Hamels, Wolf, Mathieson (who really deserves a shot), the rotation is full, and it makes more sense to move Madson back to the pen for the long term.
Yeah Mathieson probably does deserve a shot. I’d still prefer to see Lieber being jettisoned somehow though. Although you could make a case that if that happens, Eude Brito deserves another shot in the rotation.
